About Me

Hi, I'm Ginelle!

​

I'm about to graduate in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Management and Statistics at the University of Manitoba. I'm finding my way in my career as I search for a medical software developer position that will combine my past experience in healthcare as a massage therapist and my present experience in programming.

Previously, I've been involved in a variety of work experiences including retail, food service, customer service, event planning and healthcare.

A constant passion for me has been my love of cats. I currently have one cat, Poe. In a less busy time of my life I also was involved in fostering kittens with Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue. I enjoy seeing young kittens learn to trust and love humans and other pet companions in the time they spend with me.

I also have a passion in supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC and earth sustainability communities by volunteering for events like Pride Winnipeg, following creators, and sharing posts and articles of local creators  on social media.
